Connect is by and for teens of the Charlotte region. We hope it gives you relevant news and information to help you figure out life.

Come here to read about what’s happening in the world, in Charlotte and at your school. Get tips for being healthy and successful. Ask questions of the advice columnist and read her answers. Find ways to plug into what’s going on around you.

About 80 students from all over the Charlotte area work on Connect, a project of The Charlotte Observer. They are the staff, writing stories, taking photos, creating art and editing everything.

    Great launch of a new site for teens and by teens. Kudos to the Observer for caring about area youth and trusting them to be not just observers but partners in journalism. Visually and conceptually exciting stuff.
